Congratulations! You are in the throws of planning the best day of your lives and you've locked down your date and venue- that's a huge accomplishment! Choosing a photographer is usually the next step for couples and the choices are vast. There is so much talent out there so
how do you choose just one?!
By now you've browsed my portfolio and I am guessing you like my work, but what I really want my couples to think about is that we are going to be spending the ENTIRE DAY TOGETHER. Not just any day- a high stress, jam-packed, super important day.
My approach is to do my best to blend in and not be seen but I am still going to be there from the time you get your makeup on to the when you and your girls start belting out Whitney on the dance floor. Making sure we vibe is just as important to me as making sure boutonnieres are on the correct side (left, and yes I will help pin them).
Chances are if you love dogs and hate pineapple on pizza, we'll get along just fine. ;)
You should know that I am definitely NOT the type of photographer to bark orders at you, but I do try to keep the day on schedule and as close to our timeline as possible. I like being organized and knowing all the day's details ahead of time, but am also flexible and easy-going when things need to change. Think we might be a good fit? Great! But in case, Hawiian pizza is really your thing and you're still not sure about this, keep reading to learn more about my approach.
Now that you've browsed my site and know a little more about my shooting style, the next step would be to set up a phone call or video chat. I'd love to hear your engagement story, so I hope you're not tired of telling it yet!
Due to Covid restrictions and a super hectic shooting schedule, I am not offering in-person consultations at this time.
Not even sure what questions you should have at this point? Totally normal. Make sure to take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions section below.
During my consultations I like to get to know the two of you a little more, see what you’re looking for in terms of photography and how you want your wedding day to flow. I also go over my approach to the wedding day in more detail, how I stay organized throughout the day, and what happens once the wedding is over.
After the consult and you decide you want to make this official (yay!), I will email you a contract and invoice for the retainer.
No date is saved on my calendar until a contract is signed and a retainer has been paid, but if I have more that one couple inquiring about the same date- I always keep everyone in the loop.
