Lieu & Nathan’s Engagement Session at Walden Pond in Concord, MA

Lulu and Nathan’s engagement session took place at Walden Pond, the site of Henry David Thoreau’s former home and location that inspired him to write the book Walden. Lulu, Nathan and I took it all in… and by all I mean bugs. I definitely inhaled a few flies- they were everywhere! Once we got past the swarms, we stopped at the location where Thoreau once lived and chatted all about how Nathan proposed. Nathan took sailing lessons and learned to play guitar all in preparation of popping the big question to Lulu. While there were some hiccups on that day (the sail boat floating away on him and the pouring rain), it all worked out in the end. Nathan played “Stand By Me” on his guitar in Boston Common and proposed to Lulu with his late mother’s ring. It sounds like something right out of a movie and I love every detail. Check out their sweet engagement shoot below!
